missing pictures

I dont know what I did. I could use some xpert advice, I cant find pic that
I transfered from digital cam into a folder. I created then lost. Did I
lose the pic for good, or the file for that matter. When I realized the
folder was missing i noticed that the imaged on camera were gone. Help me to
recover lost file, or folder.

Have you tried to recover the pictures from the media if you haven't
overwritten them a program
Digitial image recovery should be able to restore them. You can search
Google for a media recovery program, they work well to some extent I
have used them before,
