hi all,
thanks in advance.
i am missing, from the desktop, my "my network places"
icon. either i or one of the many other people that use
this computer removed it one point or another.
how do i get it back?

thanks again,
Chris

thanks Ramesh,
i had to change the start menu back to winxp style but
then the "My Network Places" icon was there. i then
created a shortcut to it on my desktop.

thanks again,
Chris

hi chris,

I am working on a Win 2000 Pro machine but as far as i
remember you can get it by going to the properties of the
taskbar. First check if it appears in the start menu, if
not then follow this. Like if you move your mouse on the
taskbar >> right click >> Properties. Now the window that
appears should have this option somewhere in it. Try all
the tabs, and the buttons you should find it there.
