Missing links bar on Internet Explorer 6

I just started using the Internet Explorer links bar the
other day. i got it all configured exactly the way I
liked it. After starting my computer recently - it just
disappeared.

I have tried the following to restore it:

1. Unchecking and checking the 'links' in view->toolbars
in the menu options.

2. Re-installing Internet Explorer, which is quite
difficult in Windows XP.

3. Using a utility called ToolbarRepair.exe from kelly's
korner.

4. Deleting this registry key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Toolbar and restarting IE.

There has been some other little stuff I have tried but
to no avail. I have searched long and hard on the net
and found but nothing seems to fix it.

Please help me get my links bar back!!!

Hi Ryan,

Run the undo on line 93.

Also go to: C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\Favorites) within that
folder will be a sub-folder named Links and make sure that it is not set to
hidden (right click/properties).
