Quite recently, completely out of the blue, as far as I'm
aware, my computer refused to connect to my LAN (two
computers in my house set up for file/connection/printer
sharing via a netgear DG814 router).
I found out that when I opened the property box all the
network information like the IP address, Subnet mask, etc.
was 'unavailable', when I ran ipconfig from a command
promt, it didn't tell me anything, and when I used
the 'repair connection' feature, it gave me a message
like 'failed to query TCP/IP'. As far as I know, the
network card and everything else is fine.
Does anyone know what's causing this problem and how to
solve it?
Thanks, Andy
