Missing Icons from the desktop. E.g. Recycling Bin

Greetings,

Amazingly, today, a simple operation like organizing the icons on the
desktop seems to have wiped out the recycling bin... Don´t want to point
fingers, but really, I did not do anything else....

Can anyone tell me how to re-add the icon to my desktop? I would appreciate
it.

Right click on your desktop.
Click the "properties" tab
Click "desktop"
Click "customize desktop"
There is a restore "defaults button"

Thank you for the prompt response. I tried your approach, but, somehow, it
did not work for me.

However, I also tried the response from Rey, altering the registry, and that
worked fine.

Thank you for the prompt response. I checked the information on the link you
sent me and fixed the problem by editing the Registry. I had a backup copy of
the Registry but chose not to reload it due to some alterations I have made.
