missing icon

Deborah

I don't know what happened, but something changed my
Internet-related files (.htm, .html, etc.) icon from the
standard html icon to the generic windows icon (as if it
doesn't know what program to use when opening) and I
cannot for the life of me figure out how to fix this.

Can anyone help??

Thanks in advance!
Deborah

Set Internet Explorer as default browser. This should help.

Open Internet Explorer > Tools > Options > Programs and enable the option:
"Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default browser"
Close IE and open again. Click YES if you are prompted to set it as default
browser.

(or)

Download the .reg fix. Set Internet Explorer as default browser:
http://www.angelfire.com/dragon/sramesh2k/reg/IE_Default_Browser.reg

* Use this only if IE is installed in its default location [c:\Program
Files\Internet Explorer] *
