Missing Hard Drives

Here's my problem, Sunday, 2 Nov 04, I reformatted my hard
drive and installed XP Pro. I was running an XP Pro
upgrade from XP home edition before and was starting to
have some problems with it. My system hardware is 1
CDrom, 1 CD/RW, 1 internal Zip drive, 3 Hard drives (2, 20
GB and 1, 80 GB) 1 IDE card. I have one 20GB hard drive as
my C: drive and the Zip drive as slave on the motherboard
channel 0. Channel 1 has the CD/RW. On the IDE card
channel 0 has the other two hard drives as master and
slave. Channel 1 has the CDrom. After the reinstall, XP
will not show the two hard drives from the IDE card. If
you go into the device manager it shows the drives and the
IDE card and not showing any problems. If you go into
admin tools and disk management it shows the two hard
drives but the drives do not show up in My Computer or
under Explore, so you can't access the drives. The CDrom
shows up in My Computer and in Explore. I have down loaded
the upgrade drivers for the card and I have tried to
assign drive letters to the hard drives in disk
management, but that option is grayed out. I have also
tried to slave the drives after the C: drive on the
motherboard and it does the same thing. The two hard
drives are formatted FAT 32. Any help you can give me
would be greatly appreciated. Any question you have

That sound like that could be my problem. I was using go
back. thanks for the help as soon as I get home from work.
