missing folder

All I wanted to do was make my XP machine in the same
workgroup as my Win98 machine ...when I restarted I
couldn't log on ..I finally got back on the domain as
admin but the folder with my pictures disappeared ...I
really want those pictures ..I know ther are on this
computer somewhere I just can't see them ...PLEASE HELP

Try the start button then click search and do a search on
your hard drive C: or whatever letter your hard drive may
be. If they were .bmp files just type in *.bmp and search.
Same for .jpeg, .gif, .tif or whatever.

Look in c:\documents and folders\ in may be under a different profile.
