I was running WMP10 and nothing else. I got a blue
screen error saying something about physic memory and my
computer having to shut down to protect it from damage.
So I restarted my computer. Everything worked fine,
except now all my music is kinda gone.
I have a 200 GB HDD. When I view it's properties, it
says that I have used 60GB. When I add up all the files
on that drive (excluding the directory that had my
music), it totals 51GB. When I view the properties of
that folder that I had my music, it says that it's 0GB.
And if I try to access that directory, i get a "H:\My
Music is not accessible" error. and 9GB on the HDD are
unaccounted for, the size that the music directory should
be.
No other applications are able to read from that
directory either. What should I do about. A lot of that
music was stuff that I had created myself and don't have
any other copies and I need it for my job.
