missing files

I have 2 hard drives one for storage and 1runs windows well on my storage
drive is where i put all my MP3 in a folder i named my Mp3s ok well in my
play i have 8000 songs and they alll play fine but when i veiw them in
windows explorer it only shows 5705 files in it and when i do a search on my
whole pc even in hiddien files & folders it doesnt find any of the files not
listed whats wrong OOo yeah this is fairly new computer i built my
self 2nd one ive built in 2 years
