Hi
I have a W2k server (IBM x345)running exchange 2000 and
file/print (50 clients)and gererally it's ok. I have a
problem vith the NIC drivers and when I would look in the
Event Viewer I found it empty ?
I can find no hints to where to activate the EV, I thought
it always running, but apparently it's not. Any help on
how to get it running again would be much appreciated.

The temporary fix;
You might try changing the file properties to "Overwrite as needed"

Then; Control Panel|Administrative Tools|Services|Event Log Service|General,
set the "Startup Type:" to "Disabled" restart the pc, then delete (or move)
the corrupt *.evt file(s) from %windir%\system32\config then set the Event
Log Service "Startup Type:" back to "Automatic", restart for effect.

The more permanent fix;
