Missing .dll files and more during setup need COPY DISK

Hey I recently did a clean out of my hard drive and a
reinstall on my dell with windows XP and I am apparently
missing some important files, due to either a scratched
disk, or some other problem, and I need to know where I
can go to perhaps download those files for free. Or a copy
of the entire disk, setup files. Thanks I need to know as
soon as possible. Rebecca

It sounds like you just deleted folders and files, and then re-installed XP
hoping for a clean, trouble free system.. doing this can leave vestiges of
old programs such that when the pc starts up, it looks for stuff that no
longer exists, thus asking you for important files..
If you really want a clean system, you should back up important files that
you have saved or generated, format your drive and do a clean install of XP
from there..
