RAN nORTON to check Windows and report indicates GAPI32.DLL missing. Not
aware where it belongs. I have downloaded the file from DLL-files.com and
unsure where or how to install. Suggestions please.

I have that file located here:

Program Files\Common Files\System\Mapi\1033\NT

Here's what Symantec has to say about this:

If you're having a problem with a third party application, the
best option is usually to consult their tech support web site to
see if it is a documented issue with the software.

This is a error in Norton's WinDoctor. Here is a possible solutionfrom a
google search:

This is a flaw in WinDoctor, which is looking for gapi32.dll in the wrong
directory. You can either 1) Copy Gapi32.dll to where WinDoctor expects to
find it
2) Tell WinDoctor to ignore the error

For more information, see the article at Symantec's own site:

http://service4.symantec.com/SUPPOR...7607b31f7355c0e2882569c4004da492?OpenDocument

If the above link doesn't work, look for article 2000122906113009 at
symantec's site (www.symantec.com) by doing a search on the article number.

You're better off not bothering with Norton WinDoctor.
