Missing device in device manager

I accidently deleted a device in device manager, it was a firewire pvr and
because it installs some devices I don not need I accidently cancelled the
install of the one I do need, now whin I plug the device in it does not come
up at all as a device. I've tried rebooting and unplugging and plugging back
in no response,
Is there a registry hack or a way to get the device to show up again. Thanks

Use System Restore to go back to a point before your little accident.
