I was browsing the Internet one day and suddenly my PC
hanged and this message came out:

"Window 2000 root\System 32\ntoskrnl.exe is missing or

Eversince then, I can only use my PC for a while(abt 20
min) before it blackout again and again.

One day, I even got this message
"*** STOP:0x0000000A(0x452D1329, 0x00000002, 0x0000001,
0x80441913)

*** Address 80441913 base at 80400000, DateStamp 3d366b8b-
ntoskrnl.exe

Chan,

The first thing that I would do is to re-install whatever service pack you
have installed and see if that addresses the issue.

Windows 2000 is quite sensitive to the hardware it runs on.
Changing a motherboard usually results in a dead system.
To avoid this fate, run sysprep.exe ***before** making the
hardware changes.

This might be a good time to consider your backup strategy.
This newsgroup is full of posts from people who lost the lot
because of some malfunction or because of user error.
Files must be backed up daily or weekly, not just when
you contemplate a change.
