I keep having this problem everytime I restart or turn
off my Windows 2000 Professional. tried everything didn't
work....
Help would be appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi eri,

This problem may be related to the H/W configuration.
Please try this, it might help you.

1) Remove any addition H/W cards ( sound/video capture
etc )
2) In case if you have low RAM, add more RAM. ( mIN 128MB )
3) Please check all data cables for HDD ( if any one of
them is loose it might happen like this )
4) Make sure that all cards are fitted properly.
5) restart in safe mode and check.

These are all good suggestions, but I'd like to add two more:
- Replace the RAM (instead of adding more); flaky RAM can cause a BSOD
- Roll back any drivers which were updated just prior to getting the BSODs.

Hai iam new to this windows2000 developer newsgroup.
i need to know about how can i customize my win2000 os by adding the
necessary changes to the user interface such as changing the menu
options, popup menu options and controlling mouse actions,restrictig
folders form accessing (by asking password to open folders etc) through
pragramatically.

Any help is greatly commendable.
