Missing Contents from Administrative Tools

Kia ora,

I have found that all contents in my Administrative Tools area is missing.
The only file in there is desktop.ini. I am having trouble adding a printer
to my computer. I went to Administrative Tools to check out the 'Services'
area just to see if the printer spooler was on, but found contents of
Administrative Tools missing. Please help.
