Missing Calculator

My Calculator that was in my utilities that came with Windows XP,has come up
missing?Any idea how to retrieve it,possibly from the XP disc?Any help is
greatly appreciated in advance. Jeff
 
Have you tryed going to add/remove programs, windows components and
installing it from the accessories and utilities listing?
 
I tried that,but it said I needed a floppy of XP,I only have the disc.thank
you, Jeff
 
Try the following (type everything without quotes):
Put yor XP CD into the drive. The Star>Execute and type "cmd". In the new screen, type "cd X:" where X is where you hace CD drive, hit enter. Then "cd i386" and hit enter. The "expand calc.ex_ c:\windows\system32\calc.exe" and hit enter.
Type "exit" and enter.
