missing buttons after copying to CD

Can anyone tell me why some of my buttons are replaced by
white squares with a red cross in the left hand corner
after I have copied my web info to CD and accessed it
from there. When I copied over I was given a message
when copying "Thuumbs" that all of the data may not be
transferred. I can't figure out the logic of which
buttons do not appear as many of them are all in the same
place in the navigation structure.
Thanks

For the correct way to burn a CD from your FP Site see

PS
before you do anything delete any Thumbs.db files in your local web
- they come from viewing your site in Windows Explorer w/ the Thumbnail feature turned on

Stefan,
Many thanks. I have been ill and unable to check for
responses before today. I appreciate your help.
