Hello:
I have been using FP2000 for a number of years with no problems. That is
until last month. When I uploaded my latest changes to my webhost, I
received the following message from FP:
Web Server error: Web server <root web> is busy please try again later.
When I checked my website the changes were made but part of the header was
not identified, just a blank box. When you mouse over the blank box the
correct text comes up and the boxes work, just not identified.
I tried changing the text and reloading the web, this seemed to fix the
problem. Now the problem is back and changing the text and reloading did not
resolve the problem.
I talked with my web host and they say it is a FP problem.
My site is www.bellmachineryltd.com
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Regards,

Bruce

How large is your Web site, in terms of files and in terms of megabytes?

Because if it's fairly large, the publishing operation may be timing out
becuase of that. If so, and unless you can upgrade from a modem connection or
DSL or cable modem, the time has probably come to split your site into
subwebs.

Mr. Buyens:
Thanks for answering so quickly. My website has 1151 files and is about
27 Mb in size. I talked with my web host and they say that I am just over my
allowable capacity of 25Mb. They did not know if the message I received
could be caused by the size of my website. I have increased (at an
additional charge naturally) the capacity with the host. I hope that solves
the problem.

Thanks again.
