misconfigured dvdrw?

After windows SP2 upgrade, burner is not writing. Can
burn cds, and play cd/dvds however.

Properties of dvd-rw drive says:

Type: CD drive
File system: RAW

Is this misconfigured? If so, how do I correct? Any
advice is greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Try this way:
Go to device manager and uninstall the DVD/RW drive then reboot.
Windows should foumd new harddware and install the drivers.
Check the burning features again with the burning softwares.
If the symptom persists, you may need to uninstall the DVD burning software,
reboot and then re-install the softwares.
