Word is a Document editor. Excel is a spreadsheet tool.
Access is a Relational Database. Outlook is a ??????
Office productivity application?? What is outlook in short?

Also, I'm certain that Outlook far and away beats the
pants off of ACT! I think that ACT! is trash (bad
experiences). But, I'm one person and I'm inexperienced
and biased. Can anyone tell me if I'm right and briefly
why?

Are they even the same solution/category?

Outlook is a personal information manager and email program.

Thanks Sue, I just bought your book!

I'm still looking for a "from the hip" comparison to Act!
as a Personal Information Manager. I believe I'm right in
telling a friend that he would be better off with
Exchange/Outlook in his small office as opposed to using
Act! With the help of your book, I could customize his
outlook to work much better than Act! Any thoughts?
