Mis-matched Windows XP CD

I am novice user that wants sell one of my two XP Professional licenses.

I want to keep one license (for the PC I am keeping), but I want to sell the
other license.

I don't know which XP CD to keep, and which one I can sell.

How do I match the XP CD that I want to keep with the PC?

I don't want to give the buyer of my Windows license the wrong CD?

It doesn't matter which one you give the buyer as long as the buyer has
the correct Product Key code. The CDs are identical.

Are these both OEM CDs? Do they look at all different? Are they in the
original jewel cases? You could use something like Keyfinder from
magicaljellybean.com to see what CD key was used on each.

Use one of these key finders to see which product keys are used on each
computer. Write the keys down.

will work?

Yes. I am assuming, unlike the other posters, that you want to sell the
CD with a license, not a computer. I am also assuming that the two CD
are identical, i.e., both are generic OEM XP Pros or both are retail XP
Pros.

One is an OEM disk, and another is an Educational version.

Then you'll have to find out which is which by finding the product key
on your computer.

One is an OEM disk, and another is an Educational version.

As you can't resell the EDU version to anyone, and if you installed the
OEM version you can't resell it either, you don't have much in the way
of options.

The EDU version will indicate so on the CD.

The Full OEM version came with COA Sticker, and it should have also come
with a Windows document - should be with it still.

The EDU version ships in several methods, but the CD doesn't really look
exactly like an OEM version.

If you've installed the OEM version at ANY TIME you can not resell it to
anyone.

You certainly can sell the OEM if it is sold with the original PC it was
installed on. I think that is the intent of the OP.
