Minimize to Max not working.........

Sometimes when I click on a minimized window to bring it back up on the
screen, it doesn't bring it up and the window I am on stays up
instead..........what causes this and how can I get it to stop? It started
doing this about a month ago..........Thanks!!! (Should I post this
somewhere else to get different/better results?)
