When there's a checkmark beside "Windows Media Player" it
still doesn't minimiz to the small media toolbar. It
only leaves an open space for it, pushing the other open
programs further to the left. I can't seem to find and
TS'ing for the matter.

Thanks

TSing?
Usually the only thing that can break the mini-player is if a 3rd party
Windows skinning application is installed. Didja install one of those?

TS'ing = Troubleshooting

Thanks for the reply - everything has remained the same
with my system. But to be specific, there is no 3rd
party "skinning" program.

Odd. The key file here is c:\program files\windows media player\wmdband.dll
.. This file needs to be present and registered. If it is, the only failure
point I'm aware of is when something has skinned Windows itself or otherwise
has inserted itself into the shell. Something changed here, obviously or
not. :\
