Mini DVD's

I recently acquired a Sony DVD300 camcorder. It burns video on a mini dvd disk which you can then read directly off your dvd drive. However, in looking at windows movie maker 2, it appears the only way you can bring video in is to import it. It doesn't seem to be able to "read" directly off a dvd drive. Does anyone know of an add in or if MS is going to update the program to include this. Seems like there are a number of new camcorders out there that are burning mini dvd disks. Thanks.

I have the Sony DVD 100 same problem. Movie maker does
not recognise the file extension and there is no way to
chane it to M-Peg etc. Also I could not get video from
the Camara to Movie maker either. I got an error
message "Does not recognise capture devise". Please email
if you get a solution to either problem. Downloading
pictures works fine.
