Miiror System Drive

I have a server in production that I want to set up
mirrored drives on. The server is running SBS2000 and has
2 physical drives in it. Drive 1 is C and E and drive 2 is
D. Both drives are now Basic Volumes and I know they need
to be Dynamic before you can set up mirroring. If I
upgrade drive 1 (system) to dynamic will I still be able
to boot from it? I tried this on a test server and when I
rebooted I got Error loading operating system.

Thanks

Yes, dynamic disks are (or should be) bootable. This MS Knowledge Base
article describes how to set this up:

http://support.microsoft.com/?id=302969

Notice that you need free, unformatted, unpartitioned space, large enough
to contain the volumes you want to mirror.

Best regards
