Migrating Domain

Hi

We are going through a company name change, our current domain is called
company.com and we have a range of Windows 95/98 and Windows 2000 clients.
All our servers are Windows 2000 in a single domain. Could anyone give me
some guidance as to the best way of migrating 1000 users to a new domain
name.

My initial thoughts were to create a new domain in a new forest and set up a
trust between the two domains (can this be done?), then migrate the users
across whilst simultaniously changing their logon domain on the clients.
After all the users and resources have been moved remove the trust.

Would that work?

TIA, Daniel
