MIDI Ports and Cakewalk

I cannot get my computer to play MIDI files on my
keyboard. I have connected the cable to my game port, but
the music still comes from ny speakers!!!! What AM I
DOING WRONG?!?!?!
 
Much more to it then just connecting the cable. What software are you using
to try to play...?
