MicroTouch calibration problem

C

Colin Parker

I have used the SLD from xpefiles for the 3M touchscreen and the h/w is
detected OK on the device. However, when I attempt to calibrate it, the
cursor will go no further than halfway up the screen (as if it thinks that
the resolution is 640x480 rather than 1024x768). I HAVE set the higher
resolution for the GX1 driver within target designer.

Even the calibartion dialog box isn't displayed properly, half of the box is
chopped off.

Colin,

Although I don't think it's a fix to the calibration problem (who knows it
might be :)), go back to XPeFiles and download the Font Tracker macro under
Development Utilities. Add that to your configuration and see if the dialog
boxes for the calibration utility look correct.

HTH,

before you run the calibration, load mtstsmon.exe I have not tracked what
this does, but I believe that after you have run this once, your problem
will go away.

Thank you so much, that did the trick. I'll let 3M support know so that they
inform other users (maybe)!
