Microsot Access Cannot Open This File

I had someone e-mail me a database they were having a problem with. I get an
error message as follows:

Microsoft Access cannot open this file.

The file is located outside your intranet or on an untrusted site. Microsoft
Access will not open this file due to potential security problems. To open
this file, copyit to your machine or an accessible network location.

I have already copied this file to my local machine, so I do not know what
to do to get this to open. Any ideas?

First, make sure you REALLY Trust the person who sent it.

Assuming you are on Windows XP, the following should work:

Right click on it and go into Properties. Click on the Unblock button. Also
check to make sure it is not Read Only.

If you are on a Citrix server or some other highly secure server the above
might not work. In that case you will probably need to get the network
administrator involved.

That worked for me! Thanks! I just downloaded XP SP-2 and started having
this problem. The mdb file was an attachment to an email in Outlook Express.
I saved on a local drive and started getting this message. This is a
stand-alone box (no server) with shares to my local home network. I don't
want to have to do this for ever file I download.
