Fat Bloke

Every time I try to view a .pdf document with the *already-installed* Adobe
Acrobat reader v6, I get a pop-up telling me "The feature you are trying to
use is on a network resource that is unavailable".
So's the network unavailable, believe me, there's only me here with the one
machine.
I am supposed to "enter an alternative path to a folder containing the
installation package 'MicrosoftWindowsJournalViewer.msi' ".
I've searched both drives for *.msi and the one the pop-up mentions isn't
around. I tried searching the Installation CD, but with similar lack of
luck.

Can anyone help, please?

TIA.

Yoooors,

Iain.

That link tells me the v1.5 is intended for a Tablet PC. Before I install
it, wossa Tablet PC?
Iain.
Ah! Re-read it. This utility seems to be to facilitate hand-writing on a
Tablet - hence the name, o'course. From the original message I get on the
alert pop-up, this is not really what I want, is it?

Any further thoughts?

Some day, some day far, far in the future, when Margaret Thatcher is no
longer even a nasty smell, Idiot-Features here may RTFM first...
Moving on from your link eventually led me to their advice to uninstall. I
did and all is well.
