MICROSOFT XP PROBLEM

MY COMPUTER IS TELLING ME THAT FILES FROM WINDOWS XP HAVE
BEEN REPLACED BY UNRECOGNIZABLE VERSIONS. I ALREADY
REINSTALLED THE ORIGINAL XP DISK, AND ITS STILL HAVING
THE SAME PROBLEM! PLEASE HELP
