Microsoft XP Language Bar

I have windows XP home edition running on my PC and I can not get the
language bar to show on the bar at the bottom of the windows desktop.

If I go to Regional & Language Options in the Control Panel, click on the
Languages tab and then click on the Details button - the Language Bar
button is greyed out so I can not click on it to customize it.

I have installed a second language and need this bar to easily switch
between the two.

Any ideas how I can get it to show up at the bottom of the screen?

(If I right click on the task bar and select Toolbars > Language Bar,
nothing happens)

Many thanks

Alexis.

In Control Panel - Regional And Language Options. Take the Language
page and click Details.
On the advanced page make sure that 'turn off advanced text services' is
*not* checked
