Microsoft XP and Linux Mandrake OS

To whomever it may concern:
I have installed Linux Mandrake on my computer with
Windows XP. When the computer starts up, I am allowed to
pick Linux or Windows. However, when I choose windows, it
does not work and it displays:
"xmnt program not found- skipping autocheck"
"autochk program not found- skipping autocheck"
How do I resolve this problem? Do I have to reinstall
windows?

BTW - I noticed you gave your email (it looks real enough) - if so, expect
some spam increase in your inbox. Some may look like they are from
Microsoft, 99% of them will not be.. Never install patches unless you
downloaded them from a reliable source.
