if i have microsoft works how do i install power point

This newsgroup is for Microsoft Access, the database program.

However, Microsoft Works does not include Powerpoint. to install it,
you need to purchase it as a standalone program. If you only need to
"view" powerpoint files, Microsoft offers a free Powerpoint viewer,
downloadable from their web site. Google powerpoint viewer to find it.

Place your PowerPoint CD flat in the coffee cup holder (silver side down),
press the "close" button, then wait for the onscreen prompts to walk you
through the installation.

By the way, posting a question in the "Discussions in Access Database
General Questions" forum means the question will be posted in the Microsoft
Access (the database product of Microsoft Office) newsgroup, not a
PowerPoint newsgroup.

Having a trying day, Gunny?

Having a trying day, Gunny?

Don't get me started! It's been a very trying month and a half. Selling my
house, packing, unpacking, packing again to go to another temporary abode
till I find a place to buy, fixing the damage caused by the contractor who
was supposed to be making improvements on the plumbing (result: flooded
bathroom and bedroom when the plumber used the wrong part and the soaked
walls had to be ripped out). Dealing with insurance adjusters and more
contractors . . . ugh.

Is 2006 over yet? I just want these headaches to be over. Geez!
