Had works before reinstalling XP, any way to get it back without
reinstalling and losing SP2 upgrade?

Yes, simply put the Works disk you (should ) have in the CD drive, to
reinstall that application.

You've already reinstalled. Are you saying that you reinstalled XP,
applied SP2 and then found that Works is missing? How was it installed
originally? What kind of computer and system restoration media do you have?
 
The only disk I have is to install windows from Gateway Operating System to
reinstall Windows XP. If I reinstall I will lose my service pack 2 upgrade
that tool 11 hours to download.
