Microsoft works word processor 2007 product key

My product key worked to activate my windows but it doesnt work for my
preinstalled microsoft works word. How do i get my product key for microsoft
word 2007?

The product key for Windows is for Windows, not Works.
If the products were pre-installed, they are OEM versions. Consult the
supplier for details of the OEM product keys.

And by supplier, you mean contact hp if its an hp computer?
Or can i just go to a general help and support website to find details?

Yes, HP. And it's doubtful that you'll get much help with OEM software thru
but it's worht trying. I'd suggest calling instead of the website.
