When typing in Microsoft Word, each time I start a new
line, Word capitalizes the first letter. Then when I
backspace to change to the lower case, Word eats up the
next letter and the entire line has to be retyped.

To fix the root-cause problem, see Menu: Tools/Autocorrect ... and turn
off the option to capitalize first letter of sentence.
