I have a question. I reinstalled Micro windows xp home edition on my pc due to a virus i recieved. But now my Word application icon is missing. I can only access notepad and wordpad. How do I get Word back?

It might be that you need to install Word separately, from another CD.

To verify if you have it in your installation, go to
Start > Run > and type winword.exe
If Word starts, then you only have to look for the winword.exe file
and create a shortcut to the desktop; if not, you have to look in
other media you may have.

Greetings --

Reinstall it using the same installation CD from which you
initially installed it. If it came pre-installed on the computer when
you purchased it, the PC manufacturer would have included the
installation CD along with the rest of the computer's documentation
and CDs.
