A great addition to Microsoft Word would be an autocomplete function for
footnotes. For example, once you have typed in "Karl Barth, The Epistle to
the Romans (London: Oxford University Press, 1933), 28" and then "Barth,
Romans, 64", the computer could suggest "Barth, Romans," when you type a B,
and you would only have to type the page number. This would get tricky when
multiple texts by the same author are used in one paper--perhaps a function
that would allow you to right-click and select the proper footnote?
