MICROSOFT WORD IS THE WORST PROGRAM EVER.

Moved menu's. Automated messes that are impossible to undo. There was less
wrong with the last version. The new word is the most frustrating program I
have ever tried to use. As far as I can tell the "improvements" to this
version of word were designed to make us think the last version was "great",
which it wasn't. My recommendation - Use Adobe Writer or Word Perfect.

I agree - many items far worse, mail merge + using drawing tools the worst !!
but the rest - stick with it - really learn your way around the menus etc
and you will find it better - I teach it to all ages so have had to re-learn
this upgrade.

You don't specify what version you're talking about, but I suspect it is
Word 2002, since there is little difference in the UI between 2002 and 2003.
As Jane says, if you keep using it, you will get used to it. Also, there are
many aspects of it that can be customized. See
