Word Microsoft Word Help

Getting very frustated! Everytime I open Word, the blank document comes up, this is fine, however on the blank document there are 2 letters, I can delete them, but when I open word again they are still there!!! Can anyone tell me how to delete them so they don't come back ???

The answer is very simple.

These words are typed in the document Normal.DOT.

Solution:

- search after the Normal.DOT file
- rename it to Normal.old
- restart Word, Word will recreate the Normal.DOt file.

Word will use this file to store the following items:
  • autocorrect options
  • autotext
  • macro's for Add-Ins
  • .....
