Microsoft WinXP Upgrade Advisor hangs on system file "DVD Movie Player"

I have Pentium IV PC operating on a Win 98SE platform. I downloaded the
"Microsoft WinXP Upgrade Advisor". When I run it, it successfully gets
past the hardware. However, when testing system files, it hangs on "DVD
Movie Player" and freezes. I don't have a DVD Movie Player or a DVD
drive, only a CD-ROM drive.

I've tried several times with always the same result. Unfortunately, I
have already purchased the damn upgrade. Does anyone have any
suggestions as to how I might solve this #*@#(*@ problem?
