I just did a clean install of Windows 2000. Now whenever I try to download a
PDF file (Adode Acrobat Reader 6.0) the system tries to install Microsoft
Windows Journal Viewer but it can't find it...

I've applied all of the service packs.

Did I miss something in the install? How do I install Microsoft Windows
Journal Viewer?

Thanks

Just uninstall AA Reader 6.0 and download it again and set up. You'll be much better off.
You an even create pdf for free www.pdf995.com

Don't get wrong. I'm not tellin' you what you should do. Just thought you would like to
know. And I were you, I would not use your primary email address in Newsgroups. Hackers have
scanners gathering up email addresses 24/7 for sale.

Been there....done that... didn't work.

I did find a download on the for the Journal Viewer on Microsoft's website.
It's for Tablet PC's but it downloaded and installed OK and it fixed the
problem.
