Windows Journal Viewer Question

B

Brian

Hello!

Every time I try to view a PDF file, my system trys to install part of the
Windows Journal Viewer program and it prompts for a location or disk. Not
sure what it wants so I hit cancel and I have to cancel it about 8-10 times.

How do I fix this?

Thanks!

Not sure if you already have Acrobat Reader (Adobe's own PDF viewer) installed, but if you don't you can get it here:

http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

Installing that will associate PDF files with Acrobat Reader and everything should work as normal. If you already have Acrobat Reader installed, you can re-install it or go to My Computer, the Tools menu, then to Folder Options. Then under the File Types tab scroll down to PDF and hit Change and select Acrobat Reader from the list.

Yes, I have it installed and have reinstalled it but still have the same
promptings for Windows Journal Viewer and it is looking for files.
