Jim, I am leaving for one weeks vacation back east (Boston and New York) in
about 6 hours, so I will have to continue this when I get back. I will back
up the registry and get the info to you probably on Sunday Nov 7 (unless I am
just too tired, then it might be a day or two later). Thanks so much for

You know, I have always been interested in learning about the registry. Any
suggestions on a book that might teach me some of this stuff? Thanks again,

Yah, that is the machine.. The reload went rather well, but I had
a bit of a time getting the integrated video card drivers to take.
I am 100% Dell fan as you know, but that L500r series leaves a
little to be desired, but that is what you get with any low end
machine...

Also, if you remember, I told you I had only the 98SE disk for it,
so that is what I put back on it and I think that machine will probably
do better than it did with 2K on it... Not much of a machine really.
Only got an 810 series Intel MB in it.... ugh..
