Computer confusion
I have been trying to install a active client reader, however, it states must
install Microsoft visual C++ 2005 redistributable package (x86). When I go
into control panel and view the programs, it is already there. So I am
stuck. A little background. I have a dell inspiron 6000 and the system
somehow crashed or had a corrupt file, so yesterday while on the phone with
Dell they informed me the only thing to do was restore the computer to
factory settings, so that is what they did. Prior to this the Active Client
reader never had a problem. In order to access work programs at home, I need
to use this reader with my ID. Can anyone help me. I tried my work IT
department and they are currently at a loss.
