microsoft vista x64 with service pack 2 still scrap

hello friends,

after some obscure problems with failure codes installing sp2 on vista
business x64 now it is completed.

i thought ms had fixed most of the angrily problems what admins brought
to pain and desperation.

a little bit disappointed about vista service pack 2. many problems are
still present.

'bad explorer behaviour about detailed view'
'bad external usb harddrive support' usb drive on chkdsk sometimes
cancel and disconnect, anger still again with vista.

same things tried on xp pro 32bit no problems at all.

please, if someone at ms is reading this, please bring not again a cute
successor windows 7, please at least same stable os like xp is.

imagine too, that someone are not using 'modern styles'. simple classic
windows design.

maybe could also hide the switching between aero design and standard
basic view much better, so nobody can found them?

have someone found the bug in vista on the start menu in classic view?
play with the properties and see the debacles..

sad to say, still cannot recommend customers this bad vista.

thank you for attention.

regards

So if you can't recommend Vista to anyone, I suggest removing Vista and any
Windows OS from your machines and install Ubuntu. Once you do that and
realize you can't use any software out there, I then suggest posting to the
wonderful Ubuntu forum begging for help with their INFERIOR OS.

He didn't say he didn't like MW-Windows Mr. Yanker, he likes XP just
fine. It's Vista he doesn't like. You might recall that you yourself
posted "I do not use Vista ... because Microsoft really made
some major mistakes."

You should have posted the COMPLETE quote but you butchered it as usual. I
said that I don't use Vista in a development environment. If you quote, you
should do it correctly. Maybe you should put down the Vodka.

thank you bob, that's what i said and nothing else.

not sure if bill yanaire is human or a bot. reading some statements of
him from last months and it seems he's just flaming everything and
everybody. also he seems to have an ubuntu linux fad not worth responding.

yes i use still xp and like it. ms has good soft but vista is not and
hopefully win7 is getting better.

dos :) nt, w2k, xp was good, but vista is scrap, too much features, to
less stable, but of course, some new things in vista are quite cool.

So what's the difference in the quotes? You won't use Vista any place
you need a stable OS that performs well. I guess it's alright for
games and people who don't actually need their computer to perform
properly.

My clients are not using Vista and I develop custom software for my clients.
It doesn't make sense right now to develop in Vista when nobody uses Vista.

I am currently testing Windows 7 and will probably suggest a move to Windows
7 in the future. It looks like Microsoft listened to the users and fixed
the issues. Then I will develop using Windows 7.

I tamed down WInExplore to behave exactly like WindowsXP but still I am
mentally prepared for suprises, you have to disable Autotuning for faster

down to WIndowsXP behavior BUSINESS-wise.

This OS was designed for gamers, players, rappers, home users, housewives,
and people with IQ level of... you know what.
It's not a Business OS, well at leats not for me as an ENGINEER.

So you think your title at Taco-Bell is ENGINEER? Maybe they changed the
titles.
