Microsoft USB Flash Drive Manager -- Won't Install

I downloaded the above titled program from Microsoft. When
attempted to install it, it popped up a window saying that I nee
.NET Framework 1.1 installed for it to continue.

I have .NET Framework 2.0 beta installed and then patched with th
newer patch

Any ideas how to get the program to install? (Other than reverting t
.NET 1.1?

Seems someone overlooked a little matter of version detection. ;
